I was checking a great list of sites that automatically generate everything from band names to passwords that I found here. I came upon a comic strip generator that lets you pick and choose characters and add text to make your own comic book. I have been into art and drawing long before I was a musician and now with all these tools on the web I’m starting to become more of multimedia artist. So this comic creator really got me excited and I was having fun playing with the easy to use graphics to bring a kid’s joke to life.
This prompted me to do some more looking around on the web and found that webcomics are a huge business. I never knew it! For instance, you can take your family photos and make a comic book with comeeko.com. Also, the guy in this blog only writes about how to make money with your online cartoons. I also found a great tutorial on how artists can convert comic drawings into incredible looking graphic novels using Photoshop.
Now I’ve decided that I’ll publish a comic strip with every issue of the Danogo blogzine. The first one features a bunny anti hero that thinks his jokes are funny but aren’t. Tell me if he makes you laugh anyway!
