Kids are going crazy over cute stuffed animals called Webkinz. Webkinz is an interactive world where you play with your own animals and it’s becoming popular. First buy one at the store and use the tag to tell you how to log in. Then you can go online and if you want to talk to another Webkin friend you can press your phone. Then there is a heart icon and you can kiss and you can tell them you like them. There is a school where you can try out running and painting. Then there is the WShop with clothes, food and furniture.
Now there are three new Webkinz. A seal, yellow lab and Arabian horse. Then there is Kinz Post. You can mail a letter there to people that are on your phone. Watch the cooking channel and you can make stuff like s’mores and omelets. You get your own room on Webkinz. If you’re on the same zone (that’s your phone color) you can invite someone over to your house.
Maybe you’re wondering how to get to get to all of these activities? Once you get your Webkinz and log on there is purple button called “Things to Do”. Click that and you will see a list having to do with information, pets, fun and games and shopping.
Webkinz Go Shopping
You can buy an oven and a TV at the WShop. You can buy a bed and your Webkin can sleep. You can buy a pool and they can swim so they feel allot more cool. At the WShop you can find a bath and you can make your Webkin nice and clean and healthy. You can buy a scooter and they can ride on it.
You can go mining for jewels at the Curio shop. If you find a rare gem as your mining and you sell it you could receive hundreds of dollars. Or you could try saving up and find every gem ever made to get the legendary crown of wonder. You could win this crown after a few tries but the problem is your only allowed to get one jewel a day.
Arcade and Prizes
In what’s called Webkinz world, money is won by playing arcade games. There are at least 50 games in the arcade. Allot of the games help you type faster. They not only help you learn but they’re fun! At the arcade there is the Wheel of Wow. You spin it and you could either land on fifty cents or cloths or food. And there is the mystery prize where you don’t know what you’ll get.
Getting Around Your Room
Click the “Speak” icon in the top corner and you can also talk to your Webkin. In the top left hand corner there is a icon called “Map” you can press and you can buy another house. Next to that you can click the “Edit” icon to move furniture you bought.
Also in the top right corner is a button called “Dress” that you can click to dress your pet if you buy new cloths. Next to “Edit” on the top left corner there is magnifying glass that you can zoom in and out of your room to see it closer.
KinzCash
Make sure after buying one Webkinz you don’t get addicted to them. It’s hard to believe but people I know have gotten so addicted to these animals they’ve spent 700 dollars on them! I mean you only can play with 1 Webkinz at a time. One of the reasons kids want lots of Webkinz is because every one you get gets you more money in Webkinz world. You start out with about 3,000 dollars so you can use that to have a nice time in Webkinz world! If you want to earn more KinzCash you can even apply for a job there like babysitting other Webkinz!
With more money the more you get to spend at the Wshop Webkinz mall. Also every Webkinz you get the site gives you another room for your house. At the Webkinz mall you can by things to decorate your house. Or you can buy clothes for your Webkinz. Now that Halloween is passing by you can even get Halloween costumes for your Webkinz.
Holidays in Webkinz World
As every holiday passes Webkinz makes a different home page for the holiday. For Halloween for example they have trick or treating kids on the home page. They also make a theme for your houses. On Halloween they give out crystal balls that actually work.
Because it’s Fall Webkinz world has a contest. This contest is called The Fall Festival happens in this contest leaves could fly past you and if you click on this leave you could win prizes you could never get from the WShop.
Playing With Your Friends (as Webkinz)
On Webkinz you can say hi to friends with your cell phone. If you and your friend are on the same zone as each other (color cell phone) you can invite each other over to your home. There is also a post office where you can send messages or presents to you friends. If you don’t have a lot of money you can just ask them to send you something you need in your home.
Kinzville Academy
Kinzville academy is where you take your Webkinz to school. You can teach your Webkinz art or have them participate in track and weight lifting. Once you have conquered a category you can win prizes for your Webkinz. To attend Kinzville academy you have to pay 50 dollars per subject.
Webkinz are flying off the shelfs to become kids new best friends. Soon these adorable animals will probably go extinct. Like Beanie Babies they’re the want of many of family’s across the world.
